About me

Hi I’m Dylan, a Computer Engineering student at Boston University interested in FPGA and system design. I spend a fair bit of time working on various programming projects, and you can find these projects on my posts. This website was made pretty recently so many posts are very rough. But with time, some decent ideas may escape!

My professional background was defined by my experiences with the nEXO collaboration, where I worked extensively on low level CUDA acceleration in optical physics simulation. During this Summer, would discover both the world of performant systems and my general knack for low level system design. This experience would encourage me to transfer out of a physics and math program at Bates College to a computer engineering program at Boston University where I’d focus on computer architecture and systems. Here I’d bounce through academic research labs in physics as a multipurpose programmer, working on data analysis, visualization, machine learning, and simulations. Then looking to industry, I’d find myself at a small company that specializes in low level networking for large exchanges.
